Overview

MiruAI ("we", "the app") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

Data collected and stored on your device

MiruAI stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Your nutrition goal, daily calorie target, and name (entered during onboarding)
• Photos of food you scan, saved to your device's local storage
• Scan results including estimated nutrition information
• App usage statistics (scan counts, calories logged)

This data never leaves your device except as described below.

Data sent to our servers

When you use the scan feature, the photo you take or select is sent to our analysis service (hosted on Supabase) for AI-powered nutrition analysis. This image is processed to generate your nutrition results and is not stored or used for any other purpose.

Camera and photo library

MiruAI requests access to your camera and photo library solely to let you photograph food for analysis. We do not access your camera or photos for any other purpose.

Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not store your payment information. Subscription status is managed via RevenueCat, which receives an anonymised customer ID. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Analytics

MiruAI does not use any third-party analytics services. Usage statistics (scan counts, success rates) are stored only on your device.

Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties.

Data deletion

You can delete all app data at any time via Settings → Reset App Data. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
